Thanks ......the windscreen was my only complaint about the first gen FZ also. I had planned on cutting it down too, but now that i have it painted i like the way it looks and will just leave it the stock height.

I thought the same thing. The screen always seemed bulky on the pre 07 to me. I think it really gives the front end an attitude. Im super excited at the way it turned out.

Im good down into the high teens, but i have heated grips, and good winter gear. dont ride when its that cold if the roads are wet though i dont do ice!

There is no way that Mazda should have even stayed close to the FZ.....Im not saying that the mazda isnt a quick car, but Ive run Ford Lightnings, Vettes, GT mustangs, GTO's, VW GTI's tuned.....non of which had much for the FZ.....JUst my two cents :thumbup:

Well for what its worth i can stuff both my rain liner and my quilted liner out of my jacket into mine, and if i really really want i can get my thin rain pants in as well but thats an engineering feat all its own lol. Sorry you couldnt pick this one up seems like a good deal, wonder why he...

Ive got a blue on and love it....holds a good amount of stuff for a tank bag....plus the rain cover is nice.

my friend just got his dads old magna so i was asked to help get it running again......after some tinkering i have it running...it fires right up and will idle great, as soon as you give it any gas it starts to load up....if you baby it up to about 4k it will run fine, but it seems low on power...

Wrightme43 beat me to it, but i was going to say that bikes usually have a sensor that when you crash or lie it down it shuts the fuel pump off and then that sensor has to be reset. I know when i crashed my 05 FZ6 it was throwing an error code on the gauge cluster which was that sensor. so may...

I use Meguires vinyl and rubber cleaner conditioner. Works great on the tires and strangely enough it makes the paint on the wheels look wet and shine real nice.:thumbup:
