    Where would you rather park?

I prefer to park in a parking space away from congestion but still in sight of the local populace. Some places don't like it when we park on the sidewalk/concrete walking area even when there is a great deal of room. The possiblility of a ticket is not worth it. I also don't park it on the...

    Redline Water Wetter

Hello all my Forum Brothers and Sisters, Does anyone know or have an opinion on using Redline Water Wetter in the bike. I'm about to do a radiator flush and fill and trying to see what's going to be my very best option. Thanks in advance for all the advice, comments, and crazy answers.

Idle speed is factory standard 1250–1350 r/min.

    Needed More Power

Well, after a couple of days of stop and go traffic, both headlights on, alarm on all day, and a modulating brake light, my FZ6 died on an incline (didn't give here enought throttle) in HEAVY TRAFFIC. Lucky for me there was a drive way just behind me. I backed in and up the drive way (it had a...

    Help my lights wont work!!

It seems as though you are low on wattage when the hazards are used. I guess the only way to reset this is to turn the bike off and then back on. Try the previous suggestions and see where that gets you. Check the obvious first, once that's eliminated, move on to the next possible solution...

    Replacing tires and dealership??

If you get the tires from motorcyclesuperstore they have a preferred installer link that allows you to pick your installer that's in your area. I used this when I purchased my BT-016's and there was no problems. I had about 6 different dealers, 2 really close. Just had to pick one and go...

    MD, DC, VA (northern) Riders...

If I hear anything or if I decide to do a ride somewhere, I'll let you know. I'll be down in Williamsburg in June. Still working out the logistics of getting my bike down there. My wife don't want to drive down and back while I ride my bike. She is such a wuss (smile) she hates driving (I...

I use protection every time... do you?

Ear Plugs, YES YES YES YES YES My entire family complains about how well I hear. I'm constantly telling everyone how loud the tv is or why are they talking so loud. I want to keep my "dog hearing" (that's what they say). Even the doctor is amazed at my hearing. Don't want to ruin that...

How would you define a "good" rider?

Now that's a question with a million different answers. I'd go with someone who: knows their limitations knows the limitations of their machine thinks and practices safety considers others safety as well wears the appropriate gear seeks and practices riding techniques to be a better...

    Picked up the bike today!!!

Congrats, Plus 1 on the frame sliders. Those are a must have, hopefully you'll never need them. However, if you do, you want them there to do the job. They can save a butt load on replacement parts. If you preload (apply a bit of upward pressure on the gear shift prior to engaging the...

Moving back the deadline to order FZ6 Forum Shirts

Great, Although I ordered mine within a day or two of the post, extending to March 20th is the smart thing to do. It will give more exposure time and time to get the funds moved from hand to hand. Great things come to those who wait, but not to those that wait too late.

How full is it with the old fuel?

In Need of some helpful advice

After mine sits up for a while I'll add a higher octane fuel to what's in the tank and some fuel stablizer if I have it and then ride it tell it's close to empty and then I fill it up again and it's good to go. I'm sure others may do something different but this works for me. Also, invest...

In Need of some helpful advice

Hi, Since it's been sitting for awhile, the fuel is pretty suspect. A few options here, add fuel to current amount and run/ride it (not the best option but the easiest), add fuel stablizer, fuel, and then ride it, or purge the old gas and add new gas. Fuel injector cleaner wouldn't hurt...

    BOLO for Toyota's

No, not worried. Making light humor of the whole situation but that didn't come across in the post.

    BOLO for Toyota's

I see this thread went way in the wrong direction. Yeah, there's so many hazards out there other than this. No, I wasn't nor am I against Toyota. Was just making light of the current "hot item in the news" Smiles everyone, smiles.
