bump for night crew

I noticed a big difference when I upgraded from an HJC CL-SP to a Shoei RF1000. The aerodynamics of the helmet will play a big factor on wind buffeting. If I get going faster than usual I'll just tuck a little and I'm good to go.

Same here, I was worried about damaging the seat cowl. For $300 I'm not forcing that cowl on anything.

The pads are removable, although they look more like pads they are in reality hard plastic. I removed mine completely as I didn't care for the look and felt no support from them.

Looks good, as was mentioned earlier, anything is better than the Blue :thumbup::spank: How are you going to attach it? It looks like the hooks that attach to the grab rails were snapped off, were you able to get the mounting bracket also?

Nice find. I rode my g/f's home from the dealership, and I now what you mean when you say slow. Plus I felt like ginormous on that thing, but it's perfect for her and she loves it, I'm sure your wife will too.

I've got the CBR clip-ons sitting in my garage, I haven't gotten around to putting them on. My hesitation being not wanting to adjust my fork height as I love the way the FZ rides as is, I just want a little more aggressive position. Make sure to keep us updated when you do get these.

I was actually very close to buying one of these before I got my FZ6. The sales guy that sold my buddy his R6 had one of these and I just thought it looked all "tranformery" and bada$$. I'm pretty sure this was the bike that opened my eyes to the naked style bikes rather than the plastic race...

LOL. I was just camping two weeks ago and as I was going down the list I was saying yup, yup. (Except for the kids ones, no kids on our trip) My buddy's tent didn't have a rain cover, he had just set up a couple tarps. Well that night it stormed like crazy and apparently the tarps weren't...
