Thanks fzme, I've actually got one of these on the front mudguard currently fitted on my bike. The additional mudguard I want to buy is to fit to the bike in summer when I don't need the fendaextenda so much. I just don't know if Yamaha changed the design or fitting of the front mudguard...

Hi there If you mean a FZS600, great bike, I had one a few bikes back before the FZ6 I've got now. Anyway, my fairing lowers have gone but I've decided to keep my upper fairing. Not sure where you can get one for a FZS600, a bike breaker maybe? Good luck in your search. Simonwb

Regarding the OP, many thanks, I didn't know this variation of the mount existed and as others have said, it's much neater than the bar version IMO. For riders this side of the pond, shipping from the US is like what!!! but you can get it here from within the UK. Superfast delivery. Simon

Hi Yoshiki I think you'll find the gold thing is actually 2 x soft collars that stick inside the fairing around the indicators holes - have a look, IIRC they are there, just maybe not that colour any more lol! Simon

Over here in the UK, if you've got an '07-'09, Yamaha does them itself: Side Cowling Panel Kit - Accessories details but for some reason they're not on the Australian equivalent - I don't know why. Not wishing to thread-jack, but can anyone with these fairings help us with this...
