    Inline rear brake pressure switch

Ah, now that I look closer it does seem the same. When I first looked at your picture I thought that it had some sort of mini-reservoir on it which didn't make sense to me, but now I see it is just the brass part of the sensor, not brake fluid I see.:BLAA:

    Inline rear brake pressure switch

Which switch did you guys use? I searched for one for a WR450 like Wolfman said but the only one I found was this (switch) which looks different from Chemiker's. Think there will be any issue mounting it horizontally instead of vertically?

    Fairing Bracket Plate

That looks pretty good, much cheaper than the Italian-made ones! Now if only I could find some sparkly silver plastic I would copy your idea.:D

Best Exhaust Ever! 3/4 of the way Installed...

Re: Best Exhaust Ever! Halfway Installed... OK I got it all back together. Still need to modify my fender eliminator and wire my turn signals back in but that is minor stuff. Here is my underseat tray reinstalled with my tools secured. The two inner bolts hold the muffler bracket...

Best Exhaust Ever! 3/4 of the way Installed...

Re: Best Exhaust Ever! Halfway Installed... Did a little more work yesterday. Cut up my storage compartment to fit the pipe. Doesn't look very good, but it is not visible with the seat on and it still holds my toolkit, so I'm ok with that. I decided to pull the exhaust and remount it a...

Best Exhaust Ever! 3/4 of the way Installed...

Re: Best Exhaust Ever! Halfway Installed... Actually looks like my quicktime is just messed up, I uploaded my video and now it magically has sound. Granted the sound is not the greatest, it sounds deeper in person, but at least you know I am not lying about it running now! :BLAA...

Best Exhaust Ever! 3/4 of the way Installed...

Re: Best Exhaust Ever! Halfway Installed... It is indeed Skooter's Jardine! I took a quick little video with my phone but for some reason it didn't record the sound. :( I can still post it if you want, it has a walkaround of the exhaust. Here are some pictures in the meantime. When I was...

Best Exhaust Ever! 3/4 of the way Installed...

So I have been a busy boy this week. Started with replacing my FZ6 rearsets with R6 ones (swap info here). Then I got Christmas in March when my package from Skooter65 arrived. I have pictures of that but I'm sure you don't want to see them. Of course the box contained a very sweet exhaust...

    Changed My Foot Position

Ok got the clutch side on. It works ok for now but I would like to adjust the lever one notch further up. However, with the tall hex head bolts I have on there right now I cannot because the lever will hit it on upshifts. I am going to get some flat headed bolts tomorrow and that problem will...

    R6 Header

Stock newer gen R6R exhaust, so it doesn't have the huge can of the R6S. I read about the R6S guys swapping to it a while ago, I take it a lot of people prefer the smaller can.

    Changed My Foot Position

My left side parts just came in today, should have pics of it up tomorrow!

    ANOTHER OSO2k Install...

Now you just need to powdercoat them black to match the rest! Looks good!

    Changed My Foot Position

Yeah it does bring them up and back a lot, but I prefer it that way. Even with the setback plates on there that is one thing that always felt awkward to me was that my legs and feet were still basically directly under me. During longish road trips my butt was actually fine on the stock seat...

    Changed My Foot Position

R6 Rearsets So I have been using a set of OSO2K's setback plates since his initial run and loved them, but have found myself wanting my feet even further up and back. In one of the threads on the other forum a long time ago someone mentioned being able to mount R6 rearsets on OSO2K's plates...

    R6S Engine Parts into FZ6

From what I've seen the block and head are the same but the R6 head gasket is thinner, resulting in a slight compression ratio bump. Also the cams and intake/exhaust setups. The R6 has different fuel injection, and I believe the throttle bodies are a couple mm larger diameter. I always...

    nakedness

I didn't try taking the screen off before I did the swap, but it is a good idea. I went naked primarily because my fairing was all cracked and messed up anyway so I decided to try something new. Like they said, the first ride afterwards is completely different. I loved it immediately...

GAS is going up what are you paying

Gas is $3.259 around me. I took the truck today due to lots of wind and dust/sand storms and had to fill up. Hit the $75.00 pay-at-pump limit and didn't even fill it up all the way.:(

Motorcycle Etiquette Question - Sidewalk Parking

At my local walmart there is an optometrist's office that also has a door to the outside. Since my walmart trips are almost always after midnight, the optometrist is always closed, so there is no foot traffic to his door. I just park on the sidewalk in front of his office (not the door though...

    Cruiser bike I wouldn't mind...

Interesting. I also like the new Ducati Diavel. Doesn't hurt that it is their fastest accelerating bike ever.:D I approve of companies letting their people think outside the box.

    Avatar of the Month?

I have the opposite bad habit! I think I have changed my avatar once since 2007. I always forget to take pictures unless I am working on something.
