I've got a SW-Motech on my SV, it looks a LOT better than the GIVI one.

two bros and givi rack, problem?

I don't even own an FZ6 <yet ;)>, but I've looked on Twisted Throttle and the SW-Motech rack requires cutting the rear fairing! The GIVI on the other hand, does not, just a bolt-on and go. If I end up getting an FZ6, I'll definitely be getting a GIVI rack.

New Mod that increases speed guaranteed!

That will definitely take care of any variance. edit: Thinking back on it, I still think weighing yourself first thing in the morning, before you've eaten is best. The reason is because if you weigh yourself at let's say 1pm every week on a Monday, there is still going to be too much variance...

New Mod that increases speed guaranteed!

I'm not sure if everyone knows this, but you should always weigh yourself at the same time. Ideally, you want to weigh yourself first thing in the morning, before you've eaten. The reason of course, is because our bodies fluctuate a pound or more throughout the day. Not to take anything away...

Oh man, that's you? That's a really nice lean, the most I've seen on a Strom. You had the passenger pegs down and it looks like those are really close to the ground as well! You should definitely look into getting some good moto-specific boots. I've definitely noticed that Strom's...

New Mod that increases speed guaranteed!

I just read through all the posts, awesome stuff! I too need to lose weight, I'm about 5'10" and 235lb! I've got some muscle, but way too much fat. Working behind a desk, especially a mentally demanding one, really kills your motivation to exercise after or even before work! I eat pretty good...

Dang!! However, his body lean is not good at all. And sneakers on a lean that has your toes that close to pavement?! You said you had an SV and a WeeStrom?

Thanks, that's what I assumed as far as the power. I4's are supposed to make power in a smoother way, seems to hold true I suppose? As for suspension, the way I see it, on most "budget-based" bikes, you'll have to go aftermarket. If I were to get an FZ6 I know I'd miss that power right off the...

Been looking at the FZ6 as a next bike, but...

Hey guys, thanks for the replies! I've got a little over a year and about 9K miles under my belt. Up and down all the good spots in SoCA; ACH/AFH, GMR, Malibu, 33, 243, 38, 39, Palomar, etc. I love the way the FZ1 looks and the adjustable suspension, but it's way more bike than I need. As for...

Hi all! I've just registered, it looks like a really great site, looking forward to learning more about the FZ6. You can only learn so much from reviews. I currently ride an 05 SV650N (naked). While I love the torque and flickability of this bike, I feel it's somehow just not the bike for me...
