    Throttle lag

Excellent diagram! I think I could have figured it out at the handle, but didn't think you'd have the option of going at it at the throttle itself. I'll see if I can adjust to the 3mm slack, or... less to see if it gets any better! :)

    Throttle lag

How do I go about adjusting the throttle cable? I didn't get a manual with this bike, and have never done one before. Maybe ill put up idle speed a tad and see how it works out.

    Adjusting headlight

Okay, I just found this thread: http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-technical/27975-oem-headlight-aim.html And it is indeed "screwing the bolt in" to make it go down, so in my point of view it is going clockwise, also shown in a nice word document in that thread. It also said 10mm bolt for the...

    Adjusting headlight

I actually got my inspection sticker yesterday and had the same issue where my left low beam was reaaaly high and he was going to fail me but just said fix that up or go to the dealer. I could barely see the 8 o'clock through the fairings, so I'm going to try to reach for it today, but I was...

    Throttle lag

I'll see what I can do about checking in on the recall, I have no idea who a yamaha dealer would be around here. From what I gathered the TPS recall would have more symptoms. The clutch, although not that wide of an engagement, I can deal with easier by revving up the bike and engaging the...

    Throttle lag

Just curious what people thought of this: I did read about some people saying the FI was the cause of this, and a PCIII may or may not help. But... I'm new to this bike: an 05 FZ6 My previous bike was a CBR F4 carburated engine, and the throttle wasn't so touchy. Riding a few of my...

    Newbie looking to buy FZ6

I am not looking for anything in particular. I don't like cruisers, so I guess it's "the look" of the bike. I used my other bikes to commute to work 50% of the time, and the rest would be for fun to go out with friends, run short errands. Ultimate goal was to make it to the track eventually...

    Newbie looking to buy FZ6

Oooh, I saw some pictures of people converting them. Well then no worries. I thought about the FZ6R but price wise since they're so "hot" a comparable price to what I'm getting is at least $2,000 more... so forget that! :) Part of me finding good deals on bikes, there's almost never a good...

    Newbie looking to buy FZ6

Hey guys, Well I'm looking at an FZ6 for this season end/for fun. Not quite sure what I want yet, so I've been reading and reading trying to figure out if this will fit me, which I'm sure it would. I've had 2 bikes: a 1999 Katana, and a 2000 CBR600 F4 All gone now, trying to be a...
