    Whoa bad gas mileage..

There was a thread on here a while back describing how to do it. It seems relatively simple. You do have to by a special tool. I'm not sure how much a dealer would charge for it. Start with a search function on the forum for the throttle body snyc thread. I'm not sure if that would hurt...

Helmet that can beat the summer heat.

You got it  2010 WRX. Not sure what you mean by WRB but it's actually my fiance's car. I am nowhere near responsible enough to drive that thing on a daily basis. :D She's spoiled. She has a PHD (Papa has Dealership) So she gets all the good cars. At least I get to drive them :D

    Whoa bad gas mileage..

Does your mileage go up without the passenger? beyond that I would look at some other things. Off the top of my head: Air filter tire pressure Chain Slack?? Brakes dragging Sync the throttle bodies Wheels aligned correctly. Running extra equipment (heated grips, GPS etc.) Some of...

Helmet that can beat the summer heat.

My Arai Vector seems to vent great. It is hands down the most comfortable helmet I've ever worn. Definitely take a look at the Arai helmets too.

    Any AMA members here?

I am an AMA member but have not had to use the roadside assistance. It comes free with an automatic renewal membership along with a ton of other discounts (rental cars, hotels, insurance, etc. etc.) I figure for like $40 a year I can support the right to ride and get free roadside assistance...

Hospitalized Since monday due to Guy in F150 cutting me off..

Heal up quick man!! Glad to hear you're relatively ok. And count your lucky stars that, being in Arizona, it wasn't an Illegal with no insurance :spank:.

    The Squirrel thread

Is it just me or is there a huge opportunity here to upscale this design? I'm thinking full scale trebuchet. :BLAA:

    Playing with carbon fiber vinyl

I like the exhaust cover. Not really a fan of the windshield. Swingarm would be cool but difficult. What about doing the mirrors with it? I think that would look pretty cool. You could also do the hugger, front fender, I need to stop.

New owner with a few questions.

Congrats on the new bike. You'll love it. This forum is great and is full of people who are more than happy to help. I am not absolutely sure on the radiator trim for that year but I do know that my 06 is not black. I know that the exhaust trim is not black from the factory so that must be...

Cabon Fiber Fender Flaw, Would you Return?

Do you mind my asking what company you went through? Other than the blemish it looks pretty good and the price seems decent. Might have to go that route myself.

Cabon Fiber Fender Flaw, Would you Return?

I have seen quite a few carbon fiber pieces (mostly for my buddies Ducati). I never saw any defects like that. I would not hesitate to send it back. It's your hard earned money and you have every right to get a piece that you won't look at every time and think it's almost perfect.

    in need of car...

Yes I do love the Subies like I said above. in response to Smersh, I would stick with the WRX. I've heard that the new gen wrx is actually faster 0-60 than the STI and you get a better ride. around the track, the sti will obviously be faster but I'm assuming you won't be doing any track...

    in need of car...

I just bought a new 2011 Subaru Legacy. MSRP is around the high 19k's or so. winter driving isn't a problem as all Subies are AWD. I get around 28 mpg on the highway if I'm behaving. Mine is just a base model but has everything I need. I'm a skier but can easily fit three sets of skis and...
