New helmet - Can you see me now???

Canadian, yeah that's something I read in some reviews before purchasing it. One guy on ADVrider had been hanging his on the same side of his bike all summer while at work and he posted pictures of how one side of the helmet was bright neon while the other side had faded to a pale neon. It...

New helmet - Can you see me now???

Oh yeah, I've been buying from them for years. I was actually disappointed when they changed the name from New Enough, though I understood the reasoning behind it. "New Enough", while it sounds weird when you first find them (and makes them sound like a second-hand store), just has a quaint...

New helmet - Can you see me now???

I've wanted one of these since they were first introduced, but since I nearly refuse to pay retail for anything, I just never got one. Then MotorcycleGear.com put them on closeout for $129, so I pulled the trigger! Scorpion EXO-700 NEON This will primarily be used as my commuting...

    Recent problem with new boots

Ah, the fabled "Suicide Shifter". I've always wanted to try one of those.

    Luggage on a budget

OP, I was in your shoes a few years ago. Something that was suggested to me was a trunk like this from Sears: Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more You could then get the Givi topcase rack (I believe it's the FZ351 model number) and either use...

Southeast US Tornado Alley: Everyone OK?

LOL...while it may sound silly now, there was one point when it started getting bad here that I looked over and saw one of my helmets sitting there and thought "maybe I should put that on if things start to go haywire". Hey, it couldn't hurt! :D

Southeast US Tornado Alley: Everyone OK?

We got lucky here in Lexington, KY. Unfortunately, those around us weren't as lucky. So far we've got 20 deaths in the state (mostly east of us but also north and south). And yeah, the little girl in Indiana who's entire family was killed died yesterday. :( To add insult to injury for...

Options for Bar End or Sock Replacement Mirrors

I've got CRG bar end mirrors mounted to RhinoMoto bar ends (the bar ends are specifically made with a channel so the mirrors can mount to them). They're also made to screw into the bar like the stock bar ends do...I can't recommend them enough! These shots are when the bike had the Buell...

FS: Set of luckyirishboy's footpeg inserts

SOLD Again, I changed out my rearsets last year, so these are no longer needed. These are an amazing piece of craftsmanship and work amazingly well. Simply remove the rubber footpeg inserts from the stock footpegs, and screw these in their place. No more slipping off the pegs. $35 shipped...

    FS: OSO2K rearset setback plates

SOLD I added ValterMoto rearsets last year, so I don't need these wonderful pieces anymore. In fact, I'd almost forgotten I had them sitting in a drawer until another member inquired on whether I'd want to sell them. I thought they were sold, but apparently not, so here they are up for...

front turn signals with streetfighter headlight

That's a nice clean setup there, ChevyFazer! I've done mine twice now (converted, that is). Originally I used the Buell headlight. The first setup I used flat stock aluminum to mount the headlight and drilled some holes in the flat stock to mount the signals. I finally...

    New Electrical Forum

Haha, before I even scrolled down and saw your response, my first thought was Cliff (Motogiro). LOL. You watch...he'll be troubleshooting all the electrical problems all by himself!

    Electronic Flasher Relays-Great Price!

Cliff, I got my relay in this morning and it's great! It took 2 minutes to install (and most of that was raising the tank). I got the one you said looked to have the Yamaha plug already attached, and it's a perfect fit. Here's some pictures of where I stuck it with double sided tape...

    VS-02 install...need a little direction

I didn't even know HID extension cables existed! I'll have to go take a look at them, as I'd really rather put the ballast under the tank where it's more protected, than behind the headlight. Thanks for the heads up on that! And Cliff is the man! He's been a HUGE bit of support on this...

    VS-02 install...need a little direction

Thanks! I haven't had a chance to get it out on a real test ride yet (just around our parking lot at work), but the light output is superior and it does seem to work pretty well with the stock reflector. I'm sure there's still going to be some glare, but it should be minimal. I'm still in the...

    Wig Wags

^^^ What you said... --> What I heard..."blah, blah, blah, flasher relay, blah, blah, blah, contacts, blah, blah, blah... LMAO! Man, I really know nothing about electrical things (although you taught me a bit in my HID thread). That being said, this is really cool and good on ya for...
