    Take-offs?

Yeess I do have a source! its the guy that put my damn tires on. Why are people so against working in a st of tires? I'm not ignorant. I would call myself safe, MAYBE even smart for giving that that extra little patience before railing. But since you and that other track junky know it all, I'll...

Took my last ride of the season; pics

I have always wanted to ride through the desert! I know there are no curves or scenery but I love how little traffic there is and the desert atmosphere, leaves the mind with enough room to think and enjoy the ride. But maybe thats just me. Thanks for the pics.

    Take-offs?

One heat cycle is recommended, to me thats still scrubbing in. you would be stupid to just start railing on a fresh set of tires. But you obviously have to show that you know more than someone else, so call it what you want.

    Take-offs?

I bought some pirelli supercorsa take-offs and I love'em! The ripped up look just made me smile because I knew the scrubbing in was convienently taken care of for me.

    Advisability of occassional riding

I agree! After two tours in Iraq, a horrible roll over accident and working in a prison everyday, I firmly believe that you go when its your time. You're gonna die on the day your're suppose to die, whether thats on a bike or in your big armored suv. This is purely my opinion, and I have no idea...

    BT020 warm-up times

I've done sme pretty crazy **** on the bt020's. They are a pretty good wet tire, but that means almost nothing in city streets. If it is cold and wet, you should take it easy for the entire trip and assume they never warm up. But, if you need numbers for satisfaction i would say, about 30-45min...

I am Nekkid and ready for fun!

The headlight wires dont have to be spliced, but probably should be. I put the metal tabs on the acerbis wires (included) and just plugged them into the stock connector. then I secured it very tightly with electrical tape. Do not cut any wires from the speedo, there is no need. I have no...

I am Nekkid and ready for fun!

$135 for headlight (shipped) $40 mirrors (shipped/rushed) took an hour, the longest part was when I let two wires touch and blew a fuse. LOL. Its retardedly(<- might not be a word) easy.

    Battlax BT020's squaring off

I wouldnt say that. Its hard to get 15000mi out of a soft compoundd tire.

    just got a hayabusa

Usually I'm the one to piss people off, so I'm gonna jump in (no tag needed:thumbup:) The Busa is the ultimate poser bike. It has no performance! It's a big motor on a two wheels, WOW! It has the same street value as a cruiser. However, I disagree with most on their looks, I like'em. But that...
