I don't consider anything with a roof as a motorcycle lol. The Spyder....is interesting. Obviously I wouldn't buy one unless I couldn't figure out what else to do with the money, and I already had a stack of 100's in my bathroom for wiping purpouses. But it's neat none the less.

I'd say it's a decent price as long as it's been treated good and maintained well. I'd definitely try offering $4500 though. If your buddy has the money see if any dealerships have leftover '08's though. I just got mine brand new for about $5500 before tax.
