Bump. I edited my list in the OP. Open to a TS seat. The stock + pro-pad just isn't cutting it as I found out after my 270 miles ride the other day. Money is a little tight though, so I'm open to saving some money by getting a used one.

I plan on getting some heated grips in the fall. Don't think I'll need heated gear other than gloves, but good suggestion! My Dad is a HD guy and has a full set haha.

I know, right?! Alot of that has been in colder weather though. I made sure before I bought the bike to get warm clothes/gear etc. As you can see in the pictures, I have a set of PowerMadd Handguards to keep the wind off of my hands, which seems to be the hardest part to deal with in the cold...

On a side note I'm up to 1566 miles in the 37 days I've owned the bike =)

Since the weather was so nice today, I took the day off to go for a ride. I took 77S to 250 and cruised 800, 22, 250, 151, 164, 39 and 212 back to 77. 270 miles in 6 hours start to finish. An hour of that was break/food/gas etc. I was pretty surprised with the pace I kept. 164 is a fun road...

I'm getting by fairly well on the stock seat with a $40 pro-pad. 175 miles is the longest I've gone on it though. The first hour is fine, and from then on it seemed like a "uniform" level of discomfort that didn't get any worse for the last 5 hours of the ride.

I just bought a pair of these to help w/ the cold Ohio temps. They're defintely some nice gloves! Good luck w/ the sale.

Wow I thought I got a good price at $5875 USD OTD. Nice buy! Enjoy it! I've put about 1200 miles on mine in the month I've had it. It does shift a bit rough but that doesn't bother me unless I have a passenger. I'm loving mine so far, and the Raven color is HAWT! Grats!

I'm a good example of the "Harleys are for old people" crowd. ALL of my needs could be matched or better met with a cruiser than a sportbike. All of them except for the image. I'm 23 and I think I would just look funny on a cruiser, so I can't imagine spending that kind of money on one.

I'm gonna have to look into this next season when I have some more money available to spend on the FZ6. I rarely exceed the speed limit by more than a few miles, but I'd love to decrease the time it takes to get there =)

The mods that replaced stock parts won't give you much of any value unless you find an FZ6 enthusiast like someone previously mentioned. The add-ons like the cases might get you a few bucks extra though. Your best bet might be to replace the expensive stuff back to stock, and sell them...

I can't comment on your location, but that would be way too much in Ohio. I just paid $5400 pre-tax/title/doc fees for a brand new leftover '08. You'll have to compare it to whats available I guess. If your set on a FZ6, and don't often see 07+ models for sale, then you might not have a choice...

I'm on the tail end of my break in period. I have 150 miles to go. Up to this point I think the highest I've taken it is 9k RPM. Even if it wasn't for the break in period, I still don't know how much longer I could stay on the throttle passed the 9k mark. My last toy was a low 13 second AWD...

The funny thing is that I don't have any trips planned that would require this much luggage haha. Most of my vacation leave is already accounted for, so the longest trip I could pull off this season would just be for a long weekend.
