    Fz6 Launch Control ?

The rpm gauge (I noticed as well), seemed to go up, to where the CO setting was set to (IE set to +CO5, went to 5,000) Below 0, the gauge stayed at the bottom.. I wouldn't / don't believe everything on the internet... .

Need Help Bike Intermittently Dies or Won't Start

Seat lock is the same, I don't have / know of a seperate video. It's really not needed once you get the idea. I replaced my ignition switch sometime ago (tumblers sticking/worn out) and eventually re-keyed everything.. .

Need Help Bike Intermittently Dies or Won't Start

You can re-key your seat lock, gas cap, helmet lock to match your ignition key if you want them all the same.. Not terribly difficult, some links should you decide to do so: https://www.xjrider.com/viewtopic.php?t=6504...

    Stalls When Put In Gear

I've never done that "test" but would expect there to be some drag. Between all the plates, there's a fair amount of CONTACT area, enough to keep 90 HP from slipping to the rear wheel. Maybe/probably not useful, BUT (for S & G' ), put a couple of plates/frictions on at a time and see (with...

    Fz6 Launch Control ?

I'm not hearing and narration and as you pointed out, it appears to be simple co adjustments... Never heard of launch control on an FZ6, not mentioned in the Yamaha shop manual, owners manual, etc. Sounds like "click bait" to me.. .

    Stalls When Put In Gear

Ok, that's very good, trans sounds good. Something is binding up, as Gary points out, could be clutch parts, missing collar, etc. I'd check the parts diagram very closely AND check spec's on clutch plate thickness, etc Do you have a factory manual to refer to? .

    Stalls When Put In Gear

Part #3 is connected to the transmission, part #1, is run off the crankshaft. The clutch connects the two. From what you describe, if the clutch plates are separating, it sounds like you have an internal, transmission problem. With access to the clutch, plates removed, Part #3 SHOULD spin...

    Stalls When Put In Gear

The outside clutch pressure plate (looking thru the filler hole) will visibly move, when the handlebar lever is pulled in. I'm guessing 1-2mm's... Doesn't take much and you should feel some resistance on the lever (and cable). If there is no movement ((at the clutch itself) and you feel...

    Stalls When Put In Gear

Quote: "now as I've never ride the bike". Is the bike new to you? Did it ever work properly since you've had it? **With the oil fill cover off, you can see the top of the clutch. When you pull the clutch lever, you should see the clutch separate, clutches pulled to the outside / right side...

High idle after using some injector cleaner

So,,, basically, you had a major vacuum leak, causing your one cylinder, lean condition, (high RPMs as air is flowing into the engine un-restricted). The WD40 and silicone grease won't hurt anything. BTW, spraying brake cleaner, carb cleaner, starting fluid, all bout the intake, often WILL...

    Slip-on exhaust

Yes, you'll have some more air flow however, if CAT equipped, leave it in. Should you pull the CAT and have slip on's, (especially open), you'll likely have some slight running issues (leanish as you posted). I have just OPEN Scorp's, still have the CAT, no Power Commander, have not touched...

    Slip-on exhaust

I love my open Scorps but their not making them anymore. If you could find a used set.. And just putting a slip on, no other mods, won't make the engine lean out, it'd run fine.

    fz6 throttle body and tps

That above pic, with the arrow, it APPEARS that the adjustment screw (and spring under it), SHOULD be on the other side of that "U shaped" tang.. It appears (just looking at the pic) that putting the that screw on the other side WILL sync them up. The large spring, to the right is keeping...

High idle after using some injector cleaner

Opening the base screw to 7/8 turns out, (CC), should allow you to turn the ide idle down.. .

    fz6 throttle body and tps

The one spring is the throttle return spring- no need to mess with that. The other, between throttle bodies 2 & 3 is an/the adjustment screw (with a spring around it to keep tension), (the butterfly's are attached to it). Adjusting that screw in or out will align (or mis-align) the TB shafts...

Prime and crank but no start

If the bikes in neutral, the clutch switch, shouldn't make a difference in crank and start. Same for the front brake switch , even if not in neutral, that shouldn't affect running... Very odd but I think you did something else (not the above) that got it running.. .
