My leovinces without db killas are a lot quieter now :( even at idle. Lol.

I checked the TPS as above, alll good. Changed the plugs, put iridiums in. Old plugs were very oily! changed the CO's to +24, and upped the idle a bit. Runs smoother now, much quieter too. Wont know for sure til on the way home when its warmer outside, as thats when the problem tends to...

No real change on the way home, the problem still persists. After about 15 minutes of city riding it kicks in, whenever I ease of the gas at all (like even just a fraction) the pipes let out a continuous burbling/crackling, yet if I close the throttle completely off, there is no crackling at...

Sorry for the thread dredge, but how do the blackbird bars lock onto the forks? there are no holes in the side of the forks for the little knobs on the bars to fit into to prevent them from rotating on the forkleg?

I stuck a set of black renthal MotoX bars on a few weeks back. I cut about in inch off each and and now they are perfect. Will try and get a pic up later.

Yep, the question is, how many preload spacers, and 10 or 15W oil? The problem with both mods are: Heavier oil: will only help compression a little bit, but will slow down rebound somewhat - wont handle so well on small bumps. Preload: as soon as the forks are compressed passed the set...

Not wishing to spend heaps of my Fizzer as my 600RR gets first dibs on any cash at the moment, but anyone simply changed the oil to 10w or 15w with standard springs etc.. I know Its far from ideal, but in theory would slow the forks down a bit. I could probably put some spacers in too to act...

Theres instructions for installing it on this bike - luckily its a 10 minute job on the FZ. on my RR, its a 2 hour job just to get to the plug :(
