I used the stock koso bracket which I bolted to the back of the top triple tree (drilled and tapped 2 holes there... make sure you look below the triple to see where there's "meat").

You will love the KOSO... try to get the RX1N because that's the one I had and could thus help you with the setup...

2 to 8 weeks depending on your luck...

Stock is 16/46. Going 14/47 will definitely give you a sweet launch. The guy at the lights next to you on the R6 will not know what hit him...lol. Up until 55-60mph. Then he'll be in his power band and haulin'. Your speedo will be way out however and you'll need to get a speedo healer. Your bike will get to 100-110 mph in a flash but will top out (and this is just a rough guess) at around 130mph if you lay on the tank and hold it pinned. I had the stock setup up to 150mph, so you do lose a bit, but doesn't matter a bit round town or the twisties.

G'day Geoff. Sprockets it is. It was a 520 conversion, but it doesn't have to be. You'll be able to get them in 530. I'm a bit iffy about the difference 520 really makes. I am sure it makes a measurable difference, but I'm not sure it's enough to worry about really. If I was racing and trying to extract every last Erg from the bike...OK. It's noisier and I'm pretty certain it'll stretch faster too. So 520 for me..Meh.

As for the difference in pull going shorter on the front and taller on the rear, It starts to pull easier lower down and picks up the front wheel under power a lot more. I've actually had it pop the front and hold it at over 100mph over a very slight crest. Yes this is the FZ6 I'm talking about. It revs a little higher for highway work, but for twisty riding under 115mph it's a fantastic mod. Wakes the bike up. Hope this helps some.

Hey man, yeah initially I used a couple of 7/8" handlebar clamps to mount the stock speedo on top of the handlebar like this (sorry I cant find better pics of the mount):

Here are the clamps I used... I also got some rubber grommets from Home Depot to take care of the vibrations..

Then I got rid of the stock speedo and got a KOSO speedo which I mounted on the top triple... was much cleaner than the previous setup:

And finally I got a diff headlight too and remounted the Koso closer to the top triple for the best setup of all:

You can buy the universal fork brackets they sell... it works.. check the youtube link in my signature below, find the 3 videos of my naked conversion it'll show you what I did... nothing is really plug and play though so you'll need some custom brackets... nothing hard and I can help you order it and give you advice about the mounting if you get to that point let me know!

Hey Goeff the headlight is a Suzuki 2004 GSXR600/750 headlight (K4) with a custom mini fairing made by a shop in France... here is the link: KMP - pièces détachées GSXR neuves et occasions

You can either buy the K4 + mini fairing from them directly, or get a K4 headlight off ebay and get the custom mini fairing only from them... I think they sell the fairing for 250 euros ($350 USD)... yes, it is very expensive indeed, mainly due to the exchange rate... and you'll have the expensive international shipping to add to that as well (like $50-$75).

Ive ridden there about 2 times. There is very nice twisty turns. I wish i was closer though, about 75 miles away. I plan on going there in july sometime, ill message you ahead of time to let you know if youd like to go.

I live about 20 miles from potosi, but usually dont head that way, I go through H highway to Richwoods towards Meramac Springs and what not or towards Cape Girardeau , but im always wanting to ride in new places, Do you ride there alot since your in st louis?

Thanks. Yeah, the cowl is pretty easy to take off. There are two bolts on either side near the front of the cowl, so I carry the hex key in my jacket so if I need to get under the seat, I can do it anywhere. The rear of the cowl hooks under the grab rails and that takes a little finesse to getting it into the right position, since it's a pretty tight fit. I absolutely love the looks it gives the bike and the quality is superb. I highly recommend it.
