    Hey, thanks! I will show that to my husband. He did something similar to my Ninja and it sounded much less like a lawnmower.

    Joe, my husband saw that one. It looks like the Puig "touring" is even a bit taller than than. Have you seen a FZ6 with the Puig touring to compare. Either way, that's my first mod to the bike!

    How fast have you ever driven fz6?

    108 indicated today. I'm sure it has a LOT more. But my previous fastest was just over 100 on my Ninja 500 and that seemed way fast on that bike!

    What a difference this bike makes from my Ninja 500! :D I feel way more comfortable on this bike in the twisties. The FZ just seems to want to stick and I feel way more confident. I kept up with my husband on his ZRX pretty well today riding down and up highway 38 from Big Bear to Mentone...

    Windscreens Again

    Thanks for the advice. I always wear earplugs. The taller screen would be to give me a bit more wind protection and with the stock screen the bugs shoot right under my helmet. I got one in my eye last ride; not good.

    I'd like to get a taller aftermarket windscreen. I am 5'6" tall. I've looked but am having a hard time finding a source on line for aftermarket windscreens. Anyone have a couple of aftermarket sites that carry Givi or Zero Gravity, etc.? Does Yamaha sell a different windscreen...

    Stalling issue - Any ideas??

    Will do that as well. Have used Seafoam in the fuel but a pretty knowledgeable guy on the ZRXOA site recommends Chevron fuel system cleaner as a better option. Anything's better than nothing!

    A great big thanks for that! It does idle at about 500-600, which is very low in my husband's experience. My Ninja idled at about 1400 and his ZRX at about 1200. Maybe that is the entire problem!
