    speedo bracket???

Trying to figure out a speedometer bracket for an 07 FZ6. Lean69 makes a nice one but seems to have too much going on to make brackets at this time. Want a bracket that will mount to the forks or triple tree, then I'll so with a round headlight. Any speedo bracket ideas appreciated!

    Help/opinions on fork rebuild

I rebuilt my forks a few months ago using Racetech .95 springs and Bel-Ray 10 wt oil. You are wise to go with the 1kg springs. I would use at least 10 w oil. I weigh 200 lbs and although the springs are a bit stiffer, I still get a lot of "dive" under hard braking

    Duplicolor "Paint Shop" paint

Getting ready to paint my 06 FZ using the duplicolor Paint Shop series Lacquer. If you have used this paint I would like to hear your opinion and helpful hints if any. I'll be applying with an HVLP Harbor Freight El Cheepo gun

    Handlebar clamp

Trade newer model (2007 FZ6) handlebar clamp for older model individual clamps. My clamp is in good condition, but I'm changing handlebars and like the individual clamps better email wndsrfr48atyahoodotcom

    Front Fork Damper

I used the FRSP S3732095 springs, but to be honest, I did not know the spring calculator was on the Racetech website. probably would have gone a step heavier had I known about the calculator. Can't give any feedback yet as I am still rehabbing the bike and installing other mods. Leo Vince...

    Paint match :o

Most of the painted stuff on these bikes are far enough apart (example fender - fuel tank) that perfect matches are not required. Yours looks pretty good by the photos, Just ensure you paint the whole item

    Front Fork Damper

Re: Front Fork Damper revisited, installing seals Found that a section of 1.5 in thinwall PVC pipe works well as a bushing installer. then adding a coupler to the 1.5 in PVC pipe makes a good seal installer. The coupler will need to be tapered a bit to fit down in the fork leg. 15 minutes on...

    Front Fork Damper

Didn't have a broom handle so I used a piece of 1/2" quarter round molding that had a 45* angle already cut. Tapped that puppy in the damper and used an impact wrench, bolt zipped right out. Many thanks

    Front Fork Damper

Renewing the fork seals on an '07 FZ6 along with installing Racetech springs. Having a problem getting the damper out. Tech Manual calls for a special tool to hold the damper while removing the bottom damper bolt. Anyone come up with a "shade tree" way to hold the damper? I have air but the...
