Sold my FZ6 a long time ago. Bought a Bagster tank cover for it and never even put it on. It's a little dusty from sitting in my garage. $75 obo plus shipping
i prefer to go commando
jk, i wear padded bike shorts if I doing any kind of distance riding. Got the idea from a thread...saved my butt and money b/c I can stand the stock seat for much longer distances now.
So I have been doing a little research on rearsets and have realized that most aftermarket rearsets com in both fixed and foldable (like stock). Then I came accross this:
YouTube - Deals Gap Lowside
any thoughts on this? Did his fixed rear pegs indeed cause the lowside?
Here's what i found with a little digging. Personally I like the looks of the back half the 650r but thats where it ends. Good luck on your decision.

I got a nail in my rear tire a couple weeks ago. I rode a couple miles before figuring out that i had a flat. Every time I took a turn it felt like the bike just wanted to fall over, I was fighting to get it back upright coming out of the turn.
oh well, $180 and I was back on the road...
I wasn't scared but I still tried to take it slow the first week.
I took the MSF course and then a month later picked up my fz6. Hadn't been riding at all since the MSF course and rode around for 3-4 hours when I got the bike back to Nashville. I told myself I'd wait to go on the interstate...
Remove the seat, you see a screw on either side holding the little side cover things (not sure what they are called, but mine has an FZ6 logo on it). The wiring is in the left side, remove the screw and then pull on it. It should just pop off.
somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
