Hello, I need to get new headlights for my fz, can I just get bulbs, or do I have replace the whole thing if so where can I get the whole thing? Also what is a good replacement muffler? -Do all other Yamaha mufflers fit on?

Wasn't sure what to do use for lube, or how it should look.

Hello, Now that I've gotten my sprocket cover off, it looks a little nasty in there. I was thinking of using break cleaner to help wipe off all the old grease, and use white lithium grease to replace it with. Any suggestions?

I tried rotating it, and that didn't work. So I popped the sprocket cover off , and just pulled it out. I was just nervous about doing that , because I've never really worked on a motorcycle. I think it was about 5 bolts. Put new starter in, and everything worked. Thanks for everyones help.

Hello, I figured out my starter went bad on my motorcycle. I bought a new starter, and just need to get it in. Can anyone tell me , step by step how to take it out? So far I just unscrewed the 3 screws that seemed the holding most of it on, but I can't seem to get it out. Thanks ...

So I got the bike back. Put the new gas cap on(the one before was falling apart) Tried started , and no work. But I bump started it in first gear, started up great - and now normal start works. And since I've had it , it killed itself after a long ride when I was coming to a stop. any ideas...

Whats the spark plug gap supposed to be on these bikes?

by bump start you mean drop clutch in 2nd gear while rolling? Yes I have done this, and this did work for a while. Now all it does it just try to turn over over.
