Thanks for the info, I live in Ridgecrest,CA so i'll take 395 thru Bishop, to Reno/Lake Tahoe. Plan on staying there the first night.

I'm going to taking my first long road trip up to Lake Tahoe, then over to the coast and then down PCH hiway. I was wondering what to do with my bike when i stay over night at a motel. Do you riders lock them up ? Thanks,

I paid 538. from my local shop so I could give them my buisness, I only had them on the bike for 2 days. Wasnt trying to make anything, just thought I would give the FZ6 forum guys a deal. I dont need the money so if some one wants them make me a offer.

I got them from the local shop in town, they ordered them from Parts Unlimited. Yup thats my 2002 Tacoma, good truck.

finally got my new Scorpion exhaust, just took it out for a test ride. There kinda loud, not sure if I like it that loud. They look nice. maybe I need the DB killers to quiet them down.

I ordered some from my local shop, they get them from Parts Unlimited, they show a expected delivery of 31 October, it was 5 sept originally, so I dont think anybody has them in stock.

Got my brake lines on today, they feel great, no squishy. here's a pic of them and my FZ 1 Bars

Just got my goodridge carboline brake lines, I put up next to the oem lines and they seem longer by about 8". Are they suppose to be longer, has anyone else installed them ?

Paitently waitng for my MODS, FZ1 bars, Harris FZ6 Grips, Goodridge carboline brake lines and New Scorpion exhaust.......Hate waiting. Parts Unlimited was suppose to get the Scorpions on 9/05 but as of 9/12 they havent recieved them. Hopefully soon. Ive read all the post on how to install the...

I was concered about the clunk between 1st and 2nd too, i did a serch on here and read if you preload the shifter with your foot just as you shift, it gets rid of it most of the time, just dont lift up to hard that you shift it without the clutch.
