2009 Moto Guzzi Report and Photos

Beautiful bikes, but the Guzzi I rode felt like a tractor and was extremely uncomfortable. I rode a 2008 Norge.

Red Residue on Bottom of Bike

I think it's residue from the Motul oil I used. I had the dealer check my brakes less than a month ago and they're fine. I lube my chain at least once a month after cleaning it with WD40 (actually used kerosone the month before). I also wash the bike often.

Red Residue on Bottom of Bike

I live in Brooklyn, NY. There is always construction, but not much clay or any other consistant soil for me to ride through. In addition, I ride with three other FZ's and none of them have this issue here in NYC.

Red Residue on Bottom of Bike

I have actually cleaned it off several times. This has been occuring for about 3 months and I wash my bike weekly. It's only on one side of the bike, feels like a very fine powder and smuggs when wiped.

Red Residue on Bottom of Bike

I have this red residue on the bottom of my 2006 bike with 10,900 miles. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Americade

I went to Americaid for the first time and felt like a kid in a candy store. I was so excited to be there that I lost my appetite. I couldn’t get over the number of bikes, the organized schedule of events, the mature crowd and the beautiful location. I met so many nice people that I didn’t want...

    Riding boots for ladies

I have tried 4 different riding boots and the best have been the Women's Harley Davidson D84353 RADIATE Boots. These boots are so soft that I can walk around all day in them without feelings as though my feet are encased in cement. Sandra

    Winterizing The FZ6

Question: Do I need to replace the oil filter again if I replaced it when I stored the bike in the fall? I only rode it one day since it was stored.

    I Miss Riding

Florida and Texas sound nice now Florida and Texas sound nice now, but how hot are the summers in those states. Our summers are typically more comfortable and how often do you guys have to buy tires in that heat? :p

    I Miss Riding

Hi Ladies: I'm gonna assume that it's quite on this board because it's too cold for most of you ladies to ride. It's been cold, rainy and in the 30's here in New York City. I tried to ride, but the ground and the painted lines on the street are so wet that it makes me too nervous to...

how many riders don't have a license or...

Brooklyn, NY I park in an indoor garage among 60 or so other bikes. The majority are sports bikes, but there or 3 or 4 cruisers. I took the Motorcycle Safety class and often feel self righteous about the fact that I wear full gear (unless it's 95+ degrees) and never drink and ride. It...
