I'm just terrible about remembering my wallet so often, so I try to put DL/Registration/insurance in the place where I can never forget, my helmet. You've certainly made me rethink this though, so I plan on printing off copies for my wallet as well. Thanks!

I have all ID numbers (VIN, insurance, etc.) saved in my phone, so I would have them with me when calling the police after theft. If I'm unconscious, I have my cell phone with ICE contact numbers to call outside the lock screen. Out of curiosity, how does your registration and insurance help...

I keep them both in a plastic bag in the lining of my helmet. Previous owner had them under the seat, but without all the extra goodies that raja777m listed.
