No, haven't done this to any of the road bikes, only our mountain bikes!

Melbourne is great, but a 4 hour plane ride for us. Great shopping, nightlife, and of course, 2.5 hours drive south of Melbourne and it's the wonderful Phillip Island. We've been there about 7 or 8 times to watch MotoGP and World Superbikes. Really great.
I have stock headers on the bike but am considering ceramic coating in the future. For now I'm looking at ASV levers and a carbon hugger. I'll see if Santa is good to me this year.

Cool! You have a straight shot to one of the funnest rides in SoCal. Your on the SoCal Group on our board so check often to see when there's locals heading out. I and another FZ6 member are already set up for a ride tomorrow meeting up with A group who are actually called SoCal Riders and SoCal Sportbikes on Yahoo. Smokenu is in your area and we get together once and a while and do the FZ6 SoCal Rides which are always fun so keep aneye on the board and I'll try to remember to PM you if we're even doing a local short ride.

It was a little overwhelming at first, but now it's just addicitive. I'm in Perth, Western Australia, in the beautiful Chittering Valley. Fantastic riding and weather. Would love to do the states one day. Maybe I will.
