Thanks, but I just sold it. I did not think it would bug me as much as it did watching it ride away. I have a feeling within the next couple of years I will be back here with a FZ1. To be continued....

To be honest, that is a great way to learn. It may be a costly way to learn, but you will never forget what you did learn. When I was growing up, I had no help and no internet to learn from, so I learned by doing and failing. It cost me more time and money, but I learned very improtant lessons...

Only mods are rear fender eliminator and frame sliders. It does have on scratch on the rt side of the tank and a scrape on the lower engine cover. THe previous owner had a little mishap as he called it. But it really looks and rides like new. If anyone would like to come and see it, or any other...

I am not complaining about my 04 FZ6 at all because I got a really good deal used, but if I were to do it again, I think I would have paid a little more and got the fz1. I like the agility of the fz6 but I cant imagine passing on the fz1 again.

Ummm.. about 40 hp or so. An Fz1 will hang with just about anything.
