    Rusty Chain

I didn't see you mention whether it's a new bike or not. I know that at the end of my chain's life I started to notice a reddish residue on it that looked like rust, but wipes right off with a touch. Double check your tension to see if it's stretched. Adjust/replace as needed. Especially if...

    GE Money

:( This is why I won't be upgrading from my 30+ year old CB750 for at least six months. I refuse to buy another bike until I can pay cash.

Does the FZ6 have an auxiliary fuel tank? My CB750 has a fuel pet-c-o-c-k with three positions: Main, aux, off. The aux fuel supply has saved me a couple times and I didn't see anything listed in the FZ6 owner's manual about it. (I don't have a FZ6 yet, but I'm considering one in the upcoming...

New here, things to check when buying used?

From the relative lack of responses it sounds like there aren't a lot of problems to beware of, other than ordinary motorcycle wear items. How do I tell if the TPS has been replaced? Thanks!

New here, things to check when buying used?

Howdy, all. I currently ride an older Honda CB 750 but I'm considering something a little newer, a little stronger within the next year or so. I'm strongly favoring the FZ6. I love the looks and the specs I've read. I've sat on a new one at the dealer and liked the upright position, don't...
