Ground Clearance
FZ6 = 5.7 in (145 mm)
Versys = 7.09 in (180mm)
My FZ6's cat has managed to hit a few of my local speed bumps. Despite the under exhaust the Versys would still definitely be an improvement in that respect.
Back pressure is only crucial on a 2 stroke.
Only a very small amount of back pressure is needed on a 4stroke. Remember this bike has 2 cat converters which alone would give more than enough BP.
Again, this is my understanding.
