    If you want to tap them for the stock bar ends, it takes a 16mm/1.5 tap. I can do it to the bars for a small charge.

    The washers in the package are for just this issue - If you put them on the bolt between the bar and and the inserts, it keeps the bar end from contacting the throttle. There should be a tiny gap between the two with no friction.
