Just went out to gather pics and when I turned the bike on everything had reverted to normal! Reckon it might have been moisture as I had to wheel the bike under cover when it started raining earlier, most likely though it was gremlins, sneaky bastards... Thanks for the suggestions though...

I'm pretty certain I have the connectors on the correct side. Originally I changed the bulbs one at a time and I don't think the wires are actually long enough to cross them over to the wrong sides else I might have tried doing this to work around the problem.
