My bad :) I assumed they were there from reading some other posts about winterizing the fz6. Is there anything else you would do besides: - fill tank and add fuel stabilizer - change oil - remove battery - fill tires with appropriate air pressure - lube chain Thanks for the heads up :)

Can anyone help explain how to drain the carburetors on a 2007 fz6? I've been searching the forums and can't find anything that explains how to do this. Pictures would be a great help :)

So this weekend i worked on a solution. I had this the 2006 radiator fan but saw that the mounting plate wouldn't fit a 2007 model. So i made it work. I took off the 2006 mount from the 2006 radiator fan and then welded the 2007 mount to the 2006 fan. I used a few washers, some plastic spacers...

Are there other manufacturers/OEM/aftermarket solutions that have fans with these features that would fit a 2007 FZ6?

I seem to have made another mistake. I got a 2006 radiator fan thinking that it would fit on a 2007. Well the only thing that is preventing it from fitting is the bracket that holds the fan in place. The 2006 bracket has slightly different dimensions and doesnt seem to want to fit on the 2007...

So that just protects the bottom. Do you think that the majority of the pebbles get shot up from there or is it possible that they bounce off the headers and fall in from the top?

bd43 or anyone else, Is there any type of mod that someone has made to prevent rocks from being thrown into your fan and wrecking havoc? I just had this happen and wouldn't like to have to go through it again...

I just found out after a hot day in traffic that i was also a victim of this small pebble in my fan. I only bought the bike new from the dealer about a month and a half ago (no warranty from yamaha). I've probably ridden the bike maybe 500 miles though i think the pebble breaking my fan probably...

Will this work for both a set of front and rear turn signals? I just replaced both.

Just received the harness tonight. Took me about 2 hours to get in. Removing the battery was probably the hardest part. Put everything back in and worked like a charm! I did notice that my bike seems to only have 2 filaments in the right bulb and not the left. Easy fix with a new bulb. Thanks...
