I had this problem after I adjusted the valves. The problem is that Yamaha tunes the extremely lean to pass emissions. I just bought the power commander from dynojet and uploaded a little bit richer map and the problems will go away and you will not have any fueling issues...

Yes the sprocket will fit I have done the 520 chain conversion and it fit right up

I installed a 15t sprocket and a 47t sprocket and a 520 gold x-ring chain. It has 33,500 miles and it is an 2008 it seriously needs a bath...:spank:
