40 mgp average seems about right. I know it sure fire beats my SUV I drive. I know my wallet and checkbook appreciates how infrequently and for how little it costs to fill 'er up. i know how much joy i get in emptying that fuel tank.

Cool mods! I really like the clear alternative tail light. Question -- does it have a red bulb? i'd consider that mod but don't know if it would pass safety inspection for Commonwealth of VA.

and I've never been interested in the whole "slider mod".......hmmmmm, maybe a worthwhile investment for me to undertake. Kevin

Kinda an informal poll....just curious if you've ever bought/owned a bike that you ended up not liking... - either because it was a poor product, or - wrong "type" for the kind of riding you like, or - wrong size, wrong fit, etc.???

I'm also in NOVA and decided not to winterize. I get the bike out a few times a week. I have a rule, that, if the temperature is higher than my age (almost 40), then I can ride;) cheers, Kevin

Noob here....1.5k miles. Riding careful, etc, etc. Other day felt a little bit hot coming into a left-hand, 90 degree turn at an intersection. Natural instinct made me apply a "little bit" of brake (front and back). Everything ended up "ok," but the front wheel did shimmy just a wee bit...

Curious to know if these after-market headlight kits provide light that is... a) comparable to the factory lights? b) better than the factory installed?, or c) not as good as factory, but looks cool? Thanks, Kevin
