  • Happy Friday Blair,
Thought I'd give you a pre weekend shout and say hello. Hopefully the rain in your area has passed and you can get some riding time in this weekend.
I'm supposed to find out if my fan assembly will be in today so I can install it tomorrow of if I'll have to wait until Monday.
Oh well, I'm helping a friend move tomorrow morning and my daughters and their husbands (and my 9 month old granddaughter) are coming over in the afternoon for a bbq. Have a great weekend!
    Hey Blair,
Nice hearing from you. Let's see..no the picture isn't me, it's a picture of Keith Moon, drummer for The Who. One of the greatest drummers ever! I saw that longest ride thread and posted in it early, you should see it if you look. I did an overnight to L.A. and back (about 400 mi each way) a couple of years ago. Had a blast.
Yeah, I just got back from my third ride in 3 days. I was just going to go on another shorty ride this afternoon, but I met a Honda 600RR rider up at the rest stop in the Santa Cruz Mnts. who was looking for someone to ride down to Santa Cruz with him. How could I resist? Had a great ride into Santa Cruz through the mountain twisties and up the coast through Alice's and home. About 120 miles altogether. So what is this Ward World Carving Show thing you went to today? I've never heard of it.
    Talk to you soon,
    John
    Hello

Thans:) I work a lot, but i'm okay. Being small one late, but thereis a spring at us and the time is getting warm in increasingly bette one. Like this weekend ride a motorcyclie.
How are you? I hope for it at you there is good time and you ride a motorcycle:)
    Hey Blair,
Thanks for the comments. I did in fact look at your rider resume and pics as I was doing mine for inspiration. Alas, most of my pictures weren't of my bikes but from the web also as it would have taken me years to find my original pictures.
I does look like we've taken somewhat of a similar bike journey through our half a century of experience. I''d be glad to stay in touch. I wish I was in your part of the country sometimes, you have so many different places to ride to in each direction, I knd of dead end here at the coast.
    Ride safe,
    John
    Kingfisher,
when you get a chance, check out the photo album I did and let me know what you think. If you click on the pics it will give a description of my experience on that particular bike. Thanks for the prod to get it done. :spank:
    Hey Kingfisher,
O.K. will do on the pics and my bike history. I just finished cleaning the bike and upgrading my stock bulbs with some Philips Bluevision bulbs and took some pics. I'll start working on the story today. Thanks for the kick in the pants to get going on it, I've been meaning to do it for a while now. =)
yea the original design of the engine is from 1968 it was Yamahas first 4-stroke engine,it was improved upon through it's production run until 1985,the engine I have is a 1980 with electronic ignition, and it purr's !! LOL
    Hey Kingfisher,
You're right, I've just been kind of lazy.. I just got back from a great ride through the Santa Cruz mountains and after I take my wife out to lunch I'll come home, clean the Fizzer and take some pics. Anything specific you had in mind for pics?
    Cheers,
    John
