What year bike do you have. I want to change my 08 but don't want to hit my tank. Any info or a link would be great.

Hey I was browsing over mods that people have done, and saw that you modded your handle bars to ConvertiBars and changed the Top Clamp. Is this some thing that can be only be done on an 07 or 08 bike. I have a 2006 FZ6 and I am looking to modify the bars for a slightly more aggressive riding position. Any help would be appreciated.
