Sorry, haven't logged onto here in a while. Im still getting the noise. But to be fair I've only put on about 300 miles over the summer as it rains pretty much every afternoon here.
Once October hits I start putting on the miles, and I hope the noise goes away.

I remember taking the wifey for a ride one time to the only bit of twisties we have around here. I went blasting through the turns as I normally would and I hear a strang noise, not bad, just strange so I kept going. So when we get to the end of the ride I asked her if she had heard the noise...
Surfing and roofing have both taught me that tar will come off with baby oil. Not sure why it works but it does.
But wife, baby oil, sheet less waterbed can be fun too.
Nothing is wrong with you, Im like you I ride the FZ as oftenas I can. Riding the supersports takes so much more effort that it's draining. With the FZ you can go all day and still be ready to go. Riding an r6 for two hours and you're done with bike (twisties excluded) It just gets old. The only...
I've had these for 2 years Sidi Way Rain Boots - Motorcycle Superstore Super comfy, I wear them all day at work. And they don't look out of place under jeans.
It was odd how many riders didnt change the front. Even some of the yamahas didn't. This was my 6th 200 and I've never seen them do that. I think it had a lot to do with the cooler air/track temps.
On a side note, It was cool to watch them go back to the old configuration, using nascar turns 2...
The Buells certainly had some grunt too them, and they sound fantastic live. But of course since we're on a Yamaha forum, I'm happy thy the yammys won.
I just got my dark smoke today from these guys: Puig Racing Windscreen Yamaha FZ6 - Indysuperbikes Cheapest I could find.
It only had the puig sticker on the screen, like Andzs', which I promptly removed.
Here in Florida
Comprehensive protects you from theft/vandalism and pays if you damage someone elses property.
Collision covers your own property.
For Comp. I paid $229 for the year. To add collision it would of cost me $1200 more. Since I own the bike outright I opted for comprehensive only.
Yeah to ride without a helmet you have to be over 21 and have "Health" insurance, not motorcycle insurance. They did this as a way to keep taxpayers from paying for the medical injuries from a wreck without one. Although we all know what generally happens when you wreck without a helmet.
The season never ended, going on 7 years straight. I love Florida. Plus its another state where insurance isn't required unless you ride without a helmet, or have a loan against it.
