I have ridden the bike for two longer stretches. If it was due to water, I am pretty confident that it would have been taken care of by now. :confused:
I did use WD40 and compressed air for the junctions.
I did not pressure wash, well sort of. I used my garden hose but I did use the jet...
So I went ahead and cleaned up the ECM's main harness and the others that I could open. The coil junctions in my 2004 FZ6 seem to be snuck under the battery and in the conical shape up front. :(

I washed my FZ6:rolleyes: and it started sputtering the next day. Ran the diagnostics and it shows Er_1 (in diagnostic mode)as soon as I start the engine.:eek:

I have this guy who does it for 120 bucks. I would have loved to do it myself and someone who knew but a little apprehensive when it comes to a certain level.

Changing the headlight bulbs on the FZ6 is a breeze. The bulbs are very easy to get to and there is enough room to replace them too (I have bigger hands).
Thanks to this post, i remembered that the adapter was on the previous H7.

So can I use these (Amazon.com: GE H7-55NHP/BP2 Nighthawk PLATINUM Headlight Bulbs, Pack of 2: Automotive) in my stock 2004 FZ6 low beam socket?
My low beam H7(??) has burned out. Looking to replace the set with decent replacement before my high beam burns out too.

I believe in frequent oil changes too, but oils now a days are much better and these synthetic ones don't break down as much. Will have to adapt....
I used to change oil for my cars myself but the oil changes are so far apart (>10K with topping every 5K) I have given up on that.
