    Thanks everyone for your responses, good to know. I adjust chain often and lube weekly. You all ride safe and have fun!

    I don't accelerate hard all the time but when I do I may hit 10 or 12k at the highest. I realize its made for it but I am coming from a 03 Honda Shadow (ha ha kinda different). So I am enjoying the power, although its probably just the new bike syndrome you get when you get something faster...

    Routine checks

    I change my oil every 1000 miles very religiously, probably not necessary but thats what I do.
