I'm not 40 yet and I've already encountered the aging causing injuries.
Almost like yourself I tore my achilles tendon in April 2009 playing pick-up basketball. Crazy thing about it was I was literally walking when the tendon snapped. Surgery 2 days later and almost a year and half later and...
Thanks for the tips. I went out to the bike and of course still stuck. So I tried the trick of pulling it towards the tank on both keys and worked like a charm. When pulling it back it actually feels like it should when new. So smooth now.
This is the only remedy I've found to work. I've...
Has anyone had any issues with their ignition switch?
My 2005 FZ6 with almost 10k on it just doesn't want to take the key anymore. Not just one but both of my keys. Takes for ever to play with the key to get it to catch and start.
Is this a common issue and has anyone else experienced...
Agreed, this is a great upgrade as I have it done on my 05fz6.
My bike blew over during a storm and bent the right portion of the stock bar last year.
The fz6r bolted right up and the wrist position is so much more comfortable and a bit more aggressive. The riding position changed a bit and...
A nice upgrade is the fz6r handlebar.
I have this bar on my 05 fz6.
Unfortunately my bike blew over while parked and bent the right portion of the bar.
The fz6r bar is still comfortable yet a bit more aggressive then the 05 bar. But still less aggressive then the fz1 bar.
Great upgrade.
I know this isn't specific to this topic but I just put on a set of fzr09 bars on my 2005 fz6.
The bars are slightly forward compared to my 2005 bar yet still has the height.
Great upgrade for me as the stock bar was not sporty enough but didn't want to go back to a too sporty feel as I've...
Used to have both a 2002 r6 and 2007 aprilia rsvr.
The best part of the fz6 or even fz1 is seat position. There is nothing like the feel and position of a true sport bike when you want it.
However, the other 90% of the time when you ride your bike seat position is all too important and...
Have to disagree with this statement. Fairings alone isn't cutting it these days.
The naked segment has grown immensely in the past few years. Less fairings are the trend, not the norm anymore.
But wow, you do take criticism very personally. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. Don't...
Picked up mine from motorcycle-superstore.com as well.
I've dealt with them before and have never had an issue. Pricing is competitive but they stand behind their service which to me is so much more important then getting the best deal.
I park my wife's scooter on the sidewalk most of the time with the plate removed. It's small and easy to maneuver.
However, I would never park my bike on the sidewalk. Her small scooter is already cutting it close, but the bike is just too big to handle on a city sidewalk especially in...
