Here's the skinny, need to get rid of the Bikes, so i can buy something more suitable for the Alaska Highway (and the cross country ride). I'm sure I'll end up with an FZ6 or FZ1 after the trip, but they aren't really the bikes for a cross-country two-up trip. So, what i have for you today is 1...

I have a neon yellow vest with reflective stuff on it (just like the icon one), wear it every morning for my commute, it's great! people actually SEE you! It's crazy, sometimes they even move out of the way!

I don't really care if we switch it up, let's just get a challenge up so people aren't so confused!

Rode out in the pouring rain, missed a hit & run accident by like 2 minutes, but I got the pic! NEXT CHALLENGE: Take a picture of your bike with an Ice Cream Truck (with driver preferred), Driver on bike, extra points! :D

This is sort of funny.. my fiance and I just got back from a ride today, and she was complaining about the wining noise, said it hurt her ears? I hear it.. but don't think it hurts my ears! But yeah, same thing 45-55mphish, it's pretty loud, all I can really hear when the engine is ~4k rpm...

Is this the bag that clips to the saddle bags as well?

Re: where to buy yamalube? Since they're not doing the 20w40 anymore, i went with the 10w40, bought a case of it from the dealer and got 20% off for buying the whole case at once, enough for 4 oil changes.

I just sort of kick my leg straight over the bike, instead of swinging around :thumbup:

So i took a ride down there this weekend, at the Holiday Inn Express, in Poughkeepsie, a Red 07+ FZ6, with a fender eliminator kit. I left a note under the gas tank tab pointing to the forum :thumbup: Crappy pic....

When i got my bike from the dealer, that switch wasn't plugged in... so i did it.. and it works :D

Awww man, I wish I had kept up with this forum! I was up in NH this weekend, and would have loved to do on that ride! I've done most of it, but it would be more fun in a group! You guys have to remind me next time :rolleyes:

I actually just picked up some Cortech sport saddle bags today, and then put ~300 miles on them with the girlfriend. They look nice, pretty easy to throw on/take off, they dont' shift around, and there's more than enough room for both of us to throw some extra clothes, towels, swim stuff, shoes...

He was on his own bike, mine was parked :D And we threw out all sorts of good ideas of what to do to the car, a few involved prying the wheel weights off, letting air out of tires, peeing in the gas tank, filling the tank with tampons, putting a 25lb deadblow sledge through the windshield...
