Anyone willing to MAKE MONEY and help me out by installing a camchain, cct, and potentially guides? I'm trying to pay, but no shops have returned my calls/ email.

Seriously, the job is not much more difficult than a valve adjustment which, if you're due, should be done at the same time. I did this exact job on my 05 many years ago, and the biggest pain was timing the motor, just like a valve adjust.

But before you start, what make you think you need a chain and guides? CCT's replacements aren't unusual, but chain and guides are. What mileage on the bike? Symptoms you are trying to fix?

Chain rattle, and if it's coming apart, I'd rather refresh everything. It's got 90k miles (and not all highway) so things have been beaten on for a while. I got the valves done around 56k so most definitely due.

I'd say there is enough concern to replace the chain and guides. Good luck.
