Looks like the rod off a K/B .40 model airplane engine. I had one in a small race plane.

You're Getting Close!

Ahw - Hell, I'll give it to you! K&B 3.5cc inboard Marine Engine. Water cooled 2 stroke, bushed rod - 32,000 RPM prop speed pushing almost a horsepower on 40% nitro and tuned pipe. It blew up on the beach when someone stomped on my signal - hit the beach at about 48 mph and laid there screaming till the the Rod spit out. This is after the hi-speed beach incident.

Poor little feller. On a totally unrelated note...how would one go about "stomping" on another's signal? I'm asking for a friend ;)

Edited to add the following punnage: Thank you for the pictures of your boat's 'FinalImpact'. Har har

Pre - digital transmitters Tx you could all be on the same frequency. Thus two transmitters on the same Freq to the same receiver Rx and they freeze (get Stomped on). They are such low power Tx that proximity usually wins. Thus whoever is closer gets some form of control.

New digital stuff scans the air before assigning a frequency. If its taken it uses another. Plus its all up in the Giga Hz range so you don't have 20" tails behind things like Am and FM Tx/Rx.

Well it's made in Austria.

Looks like its plastic.
Something to do with air con?
Haha - ya, it BLOWS! :rof: :rof:

I thought it was plastic too. Had to look real close and tap on it, inspect threads, and machine work to see it is aluminum.

It looks like it's a centrifugal supercharger of some sort. Mounts to the belt drive of a motor of something smaller than a semi!
