i wonder if it will have the new waterboxer engine. and from the shadowy picture it looks like there wont be a cantilevered fork system for an R bike... interesting.

BMW Motorrad will be presenting a new model with air-cooled "boxer" engine in 2013 as a special way of marking the "90 years of BMW Motorrad" anniversary.

Really like the look of the bike .....however.....this past summer myself and two others went to the local HD Demo day....I chose the Road King.....my buddy chose the XR1200......sat around waiting for him to arrive after our ride finished....and waited...and waited....started to wonder if he laid the bike down since we all left together........the HD rep said there was an "issue" with his bike.......he finally pulled into the shop on another bike.....apparently during the 10km ride the shifter fell off somewhere.......odd that the HD reps never even said a "sorry bout that" to him.....just got him another bike and carried on. Really doesn't leave a good taste in your mouth as a potential buyer.
