I like it, I had a CB400N in 1980 and it was great fun. I fitted Moriwaki 425cc pistons, cam and 2 into 1 pipe on it and it would run off the clock, redline was 10k and no man's land started at 11, it would run waaaaay past that and the 180km/h marked top speed.

I know this has nothing to do with the CB1100 but the 400 reference in the OP took me back....

Sums up what a bike should be... clean, efficient, and effective... Americans don't think that way though... Europe is much more pragmatic :ban: when it comes to transportation.

Strange i never thought i d like that but i do ... must be getting older and appreciating things a bit more

Tis a nice bike though

I can live without it as well. I can see why a bike like that would make an excellent city commuter but fortunately I never have to ride in a city...I'm ALWAYS stretching the legs of my ride! :Sport:

Different point of views depending on which side of the pond you are.

Here a 1100 would be a total waste of money for commuting, an Indian Bajaj 180 is more than enough and it works with the smell of gas :)

UUG...As a CB1100F (83) owner this CB1100 is an embarasment..but at least they didnt give it a "F" designation.

Now if they would build this,(CB1100R) I would bring them over here, and prosper..

Unfortuantly they are not putting it into production..:(

Too big for a city Bike...Thats where those annoying scooters come into their own.Great looking bike reminds me of the 1977 CB750f.

Yes, a Cb750 would be perfect for the city.

You can still find some latest models of the nighthawk (cb750) here in the States.

Do you guys thing the new CB1100 is fuel injected?
