Do I need to rejet/remap?

I recently got a steal of a deal. Let me take a moment and brag about it

Two Brothers Carbon Fiber exhaust
Power Commander III USB
Puig Red Windscreen
K&N Air Filter
Fender Elim kit
Mini front and rear turn signals

All for $500, I feel very lucky to have found this guy, his wife was pregnant and needed the money badly i guess. Makes me not want to have kids, I don't want to sell my stuff!

I've got the exhaust on as well as the K&N air filter installed. And it seems to run fine, i talked to a guy who's been riding for awhile and he said that I don't need to install the Power Commander and that I shouldn't bother with it, just sell it on eBay or here.
What if i don't ever put it on? Will it harm my bike? It seems to be running fine, but then again I'm the farthest thing from a mechanic.
I know the Power commander will give me more power, but I don't care about that, the FZ6 has enough for me. I also heard putting the power commander on will cause a gas mileage decrease, I don't want that.

In a nutshell, I only want to put the Power Commander on if it's necessary.

With a good tune the powercommander will make your bike produce more bhp and it will run smoother ... if you have one ... use it (with a custom tune). :thumbup:

I have heard that the 2007 and newer bikes have an O2 sensor that should adjust the air/fuel mixture for a small range of differences. I'm thinking that should include things like the exhaust and air filter, but not 100% positive. Thinking about taking mine out to re-check the performance.

From my experience with an FZ6 equipped with a power commander, in a high state of tune, yes you will use lots more gas...but still way less than most "real" cars!

The power commander is a good thing IMHO.

Here's a map for an o6 FZ6 ,K&N, Two Bro exhaust w/ pr1 db killer. should get you in the ballpark.
