Changed mine at 24k miles and it looked like that. No difference noted after changing it so yeah, maybe try 50k haha

Mine just clicked 26k but not sure when it was last or ever changed.

I've noticed a difference in performance.... smoother, crisper throttle response and a bit more noise from the rear !

I would defo recommend changing. You do it in your cages so why not on the bike

My cages filters cost like $20...the Yamaha filter costs like $50. That's the only reason I haven't changed mine before it's dirty.

£23 here... £10-15 for a cage filter for me... Not surprised tho, the Yamaha one is in a plastic frame with rubber edging and wire mesh. Cage filters are generally all paper.

I'm sure I can find a better deal than that but thanks for the motivation to at least check the condition on the filter. :thumbup:
