He is to have surgery back in Australia

Never been a huge Stoner fan but he is a "steely eyed muscle man" to ride Sunday after the get off he had the day before.

I watched watched Qualifying last night on the DVR. The boy was absolutely launched to the moon when he highsided. I was also at the race in Indy and sitting across from the pits. When he pulled in after the race he was absolutely exhausted and after about a minute of sitting on the bike with his head\helmet in his hands, was helped from the bike by his crew. He is the "MAN". Anyone who can crash that hard, and come out and almost put it on the podium in the world's premier class is certainly amazing. I only wished that Dovi would just let him by to have the podium. I would have been further amazed if he rode a Brno this weekend. It will be a real shame if he is unable to make it back before the end of the season.

Casey has never been one to hold back. He definitely speaks his mind and will often say what everyone else is thinking. I know he never holds back when he talks about our US tracks . Crutchlow said it best when he responded that they all have to beat the same track and whether it is slick or whatever, they all have to deal with it.

I gained a lot of respect for Stoner after that crash and having the courage to ride the next day.
I blew both the ligaments in my ankle 30 years ago (when I was still young and healthy) and the pain was unimaginable. I was in a cast for more than 6 weeks and the doctor actually told me I would have been better off recovery wise to have broken my ankle instead of the ligament damage..
