It replaces just the top part of both clamps giving you a place where something could be mounted (GPS, or ?). So the position of the bars is not changed.

The research I've done says I don't need to switch levers to go from the '06 two pot calipers to the '07- four pot calipers. Part numbers all look the same for all model years. I am gonna switch to shorty levers to discourage whole-fist braking, though. Good luck with the sale.
