As my bike is my only means of transport, I can't do without the parts for them to be modified.

Is there another option? I'm a definite if there's an inexpensive way to purchase the required parts for modification.

Cheers,
Rick

My bike will be out of commission for the winter months. I could send my core parts to him, he mods them and sends them to you, you send yours to be modded and then he sends those to me.

Dunno if this is even happening right now, but if so I'm willing to swing this deal.

Ok, I see you guys are volunteering my services yet again :BLAA:

I'd be willing to run another batch, but I'll need a month or so to get the supplies I need again. I'll keep you posted on the progress.

I'll investigate the hydraulic route as well, as people seem to be interested in that.

Thanks for doing this again:thumbup:

For those who signed up for this, its a great mod. I've surprised a few forum members on the NJ rides with Erci with how smooth and easy the clutch pull is.

Thanks, killer!

If it helps, I don't mind pre-paying in the form of a parts shipment to your address. Might help some guys avoid downtime, and may increase the volume you can get done.

Do you want parts to be shipped to you, so that when you get the supplies you have a stock built up?

That is definitely the best. By far the most annoying thing is getting levers in one at a time and then having to set up all the equipment and get everything tuned up just to do a single one. If I can run a whole batch at one time, it isn't too bad.

That would be FANTASTIC! Thank you for the offer, you are most generous!

Well, if the Noodle is doing another batch, I'm in!

Thanks again!

Rick

definitely in for my wife's '06. Let me know when and where to ship the parts, no rush on the return as its ski season here.

I would also like in on this. If/when you are ready to do this again, please let me know where to send the parts. I would be willing to send the parts to you ahead of time also.

My bike is my daily driver and I need it to be operational. Would it be possible to order the stock parts and have them delivered to you via Ron Ayers if you do this again? I can't have my bike down that long.

Still waiting with bated breath! I am IN, when you're ready!

(as another thought, how much would it cost me to get you to order the parts and make them up for me? It might even be easier to buy factory genuine and pay you a bit extra?)

Just a thought.

Cheers,
Rick

I went to Yamaha City here in Melbourne and was quoted $84 total for both parts. I was advised to try Victorian Motorcycle Wreckers. I went and saw Ken this morning and I have the parts in my possesion, redy to send.
I paid $35 total for both parts.
SO all I need is an address to despatch the parts to and ywill be on their way.....quicksticks.
Thanks killer, I await you call
cheers:Flash:

What Downs said, I'd be quite keen to do this myself. :D

Happy to order early too, not in any sort of rush with this but just want to get them to you so I don't miss it due to the items being on back order issue or something.

Just wanted to let you guys know that I haven't forgotten about you! I'm currently in the process of adding some new tools to my little 1 car garage/shop including a new powdercoating oven, as well as trying to finish up some other projects I'm working on. I only have the space to do one thing at a time, but you guys are pretty close on the list.

I'm ordering the lever blanks from my CNC guy sometime in the next couple weeks after I make some drawings of other stuff I need from him.
