I only have a pic of the JR on the bike--

No pics of the Rapid but I can tell you this if it is not positioned just right you will either honk the horn or try and start the engine at full lock, so yes it is a little large for the fZ. Did work real well on the 650 VStrom I had.

Thanks for the pic, did you have to make sure it cleared the handle bar switches?? Could be that I had risers on my bars.

Not a problem. I have had the horn switch hit the bag once or twice, but it was because I didnt put the bag on straight enough. Like you said, you have to make sure the bag is in the right spot or you might run into an issue with the switches hitting. I think risers would make this problem worse, especially if they move the bar back . I use this bag all the time so ive gotten pretty used to positioning it when I put it on. The tank on our FZs definitely isnt ideal for tank bags its kind of an odd shape at the top.

I should mention that Ive used it in the rain multiple times and the rain-cover works perfectly. The quality on this thing is top notch, IMHO.
