So I bought my bike in march with 8k on it since then I have put 5k on it. I have done 3 oil changes, adjusted the chain monthly, kept up checking tire pressure weekly, changed brake pads/ brake fluid. Two days ago I noticed that I have vibration at any speed I think its from the motor possibly the throttle body sync. My idle bounces slightly not much but more than a week ago. I might be paranoid but I want to make it home safe. Any suggestion would be great.

You say it's at any speed. What about the rev range? For example say you're cruising at 65MPH and roughly (I don't know.. maybe 6500RPM's) and you pull the clutch in and release the throttle. Does the vibration stay the same or go away?

It seems to be just when the engine is engaged with the clutch. If I coast it calms down but it feels like it is still their slightly. I thought it might be the chain so I lubed it up no change.

I had a similar problem on my 2007 FZ6. I was running at about 7000 RPM. The clutch lever tends to vibrate and makes a rattling noise. I just lay a finger on it and it goes away.

I had that problem before I tightened up the levers and it stopped. Its more of a feel not a noise it just might be running rough. Tomorrow I am going to make a manometer and see if its the throttle bodies are a out of sync.

I have some vibrations too, actually the bike feels like its about to fall apart from 7k to 9k rpm! Someone suggested I check the motor mount bolts and tighten them down. Maybe at 13k they came a little loose by now? Couldnt hurt and its free to do so thats a plus! :BLAA:

Did you find that your's were loose? If so, was your problem resolved upon tightening?

Sorry for the confusion, I plan to do it this weekend because I haven't had time to check during the week. I'll keep you updated on the results.

Have you noticed any change in performance, gas mileage or anything else

Not saying you don't know this but

See post #6. http://www.600riders.com/forum/gara...5-adjusting-chain-swingarm-end-cap-loose.html

I just had a forum member ask me a few weeks ago about a problem he had after he had new tires put on his bike. Loose adjuster plate (pre 07 FZ6) Vibration, howling sounds, bad shifting.

His rear wheel was not aligned and his chain was too tight! Brought it to specs and he was a happy rider!

How did you tighten your levers? Do you know what size socket I need for the clutch?
