I wonder how all the 3 wheel car mfgs are going to react to this. T Rex, Aptera both come to mind, I am sure there are many others.

By this definition, they are no longer motorcycles (wheels bigger than 10")..... and would have to meet DOT standards as cars, unless they come up with a new definition covering why they don't need roll over protection, and 5 MPH bumpers, etc.

The European street legal quads have been outlawed in the US for these reasons. Seems like we'll see 3 wheelers go the same way. At least the ones that are really cars, rather than bikes.
